The ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards is widely accepted in the motorsports community as the premier sister series to the elite NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. While the cars and motors are identical, rules in the ARCA Series are designed to keep the cost of competition just a fraction of that in NASCAR. ARCA races are scheduled as companion events to the elite NASCAR divisions eight times in 2013, offering sponsors a huge bang for the buck.

The ARCA Series was founded in 1953 as the Midwest Association for Race Cars until changing its name to the Automobile Racing Club of America in 1964. NASCAR Cup Series standouts Ryan Newman, Kyle Busch, Ken Schrader, Davey Allison, Kerry Earnhardt, Ron Hornadayand Darrell Waltrip have all successfully competed in the ARCA Series prior to moving up to the NASCAR Cup Series. Local talents Cale Gale, Joanna Long and Grant Enfinger have all competed in ARCA on their way to NASCAR.
