Making Sweet Music: MIS to Give Away Bayfest Passes at Track’s Season Finale this Weekend
Cars and music are a perfect fit.
This Saturday night on Bayfest weekend, Mobile International Speedway wants to connect those two mutual interests for our dedicated and diverse blend of fans, both within the community and guests that are visiting.
Because of the partnership MIS shares with the Mobile Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Mobile Sports Authority, it would have been a shame if its residents and tourists left Mobile without experiencing the community-driven, family-oriented atmosphere MIS always offers up.
Thanks to Kane Motorsports, some lucky fan in attendance Saturday at MIS will walk away with a pair of Bayfest passes that include VIP privileges to Sunday’s final day of revelry.
Racing enthusiasts who are traveling from outside the Mobile area are being urged to please visit the following website for the Mobile CVB.
http://www.mobilebay.org There guests will find in-depth information regarding lodging and dining accommodations, as well as other entertainment experiences.
Saturday night marks the 2013 finale for MIS. Track officials are encouraging fans to get there early when the gates open at 4 p.m. Saturday. The winner of the coveted Bayfest passes will be announced sometime during the feature races.
Four track champions will be crowned Saturday night, including the Super Late Models that will be racing in the Mobile 125 presented by RE Suspensions, in conjunction with the touring Southern Super Series.
Fans are invited out Friday night to attend all-important practice sessions for all four divisions that will be competing Saturday.
Copies of the CVB’s visitors and dining guides will be available both Friday and Saturday for guests to peruse and keep as a helpful tool for their stay in Mobile.
The night’s festivities, originally scheduled for last month, were washed out completely by Mother Nature. Because of additional Super Late Model races being held throughout the remainder of the year across the nation, this Saturday remained the only available weekend for the SLMs to return to the Gulf Coast.
