The Miller Lite Super Late Model 100 lap race Saturday evening June 26 remains “UNOFFICIAL”.

 

        At issue is the post race inspection of the 112 of Augie Grill.  There is some question about the cylinder heads on the engine.

 

        Mobile International Speedway Technical Inspector Rick Brooks has shipped the parts in question to a third party for a close up inspection.

 

        Results of said inspection likely will not be known until late Tuesday or Wednesday.

 

        The results of the June 26 Super Late Model 100 lap race, the Miller Lite season championship point total, the Sunoco Gulf Coast season point total, as well as monetary bonuses and purse payouts area all on hold pending the outcome of the technical review.

 

        Additionally, there were other actions taken by race officials Saturday evening, some of which are still under review as to the disciplinary actions that may be warranted and the revision of race results and point totals.
